Little did they know that they were about to experience an unforgettable adventure complimented by refined luxury and iconic landscapes.

With some extended time in Johannesburg to start off their trip, this couple had a day at leisure and a day with a scheduled tour. This is becoming a rising trend where people are opting to explore gateway cities at a slower pace rather than just using it as a stopover before they begin their safari. After their city stop they flew to Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park, where the landscape shifts dramatically to the river’s edge. They enjoyed spotting elephants along the banks of the Mighty Zambezi and peaceful river cruises. The beauty of this region lies in its versatility, seamlessly blending land-based game drives with immersive water experiences.

Next they moved to the Valley of the Leopard: South Luangwa. This is also the birthplace of the walking safari, allowing exploration on foot alongside expert guides, heightening every sense. This park is home to incredible populations of lion and elephant.

Looking to experience the Zambia side of Victoria Falls, they next settled down in Livingstone, just up the Zambezi River. They are perfectly positioned to witness the awe-inspiring power of the Falls while also engaging with the local community. Visits to the Tongabezi Trust School and nearby villages offered meaningful cultural connection, while leisurely boat cruises provided peaceful but memorable moments.

The final destination for them ended at Cape Town as they said good bye to the bush and entered a vibrant city full of culture and natural beauty. Balancing guided experiences with time at leisure, they explored this coastal city at their own pace, a perfect finale that allowed for a gentle transition before the long journey home.
