Was there a particular camp or lodge that was the highlight of your trip and why?
Mara Expedition was truly exceptional and we loved everything about it. Clifford, Kat, Happy, Risa and the manager whose name I can not recall (starts with an S). They were all so genuine and welcoming and made us feel like family throughout our stay there.At Saruni Eagle View, we really liked the bartender Hussein.
Any favorite moments?
There are too many favorite moments to count. We enjoyed all of the little personal touches and surprise experiences so much. On our last day we planted a fig tree, an occasion made even more special by six team members gathering around to bless the tree and sing a song together. Mara Expedition is forever etched in our hearts and memories and I will definitely return to a Great Plains property for future safaris.
