Chitabe Lediba

Chitabe Lediba, in the Chitabe Concession, neighbours the Moremi Game Reserve in the south-eastern part of the Okavango Delta. Its wide range of habitats makes for an equal diversity of wildlife sightings. Views over the floodplains give ample opportunities to watch the daily animal traffic. Beyond the camp, Okavango and Kalahari landscapes meet to form rich habitats.

The Chitabe Concession covers 22 000-hectares (54 363-acres) of pristine Okavango Delta wilderness. This unique area harbours a massive variety of habitats within close proximity giving rise to a surprising diversity of species. The mix of Okavango and Kalahari makes for an excellent home to an abundant array of herbivores: giraffes, buffalos, red lechwe, tsessebe, impala and elephants, which in turn support the larger predators: lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, and African wild dogs.
